The Minnesota Vikings led the Packers for 58:30 of their game on Sunday night, but a touchdown by Toy Fisher of 14 yards with 1:11 remaining gave the Packers a 26-22 come from behind victory.
The Vikings pitched a shut-out against Green Bay for the first quarter and a portion of the second quarter. Minnesota opened up a 13-0 lead. But field goals of 33 and 19 yards by Ryan Longwell in the second quarter, nade it a 13-6 game at half time.
The Vikings opened the third quarter on a ground dominating drive of 74 yards in seven plays and scored a touch down to increase the lead to 19-6. The Packers stormed back, as Favre hit Robert Fergeson for a 21 yard score to make it 19-13. The Vikings would strike again, as Gary Anderson connected on a 37 yard field goal to make the score 22-13 after three quarters.
Early in the fourth quarter, Favre connected with Ferguson again for a touch down to make it 22-20. The Packer defense got tight on the Viking offense the rest of the way,and gave up big yardage, but no scores. That helped to set up Favre's gane winning touch down drive of 85 yards in nine plays as Tony Fisher scored on a 14 yard run with just 1:11 remaining.
At the very end of the game, tempers over heated, and there was a bench clearing brawl as the two teams began heading to their locker rooms.
