Headline: Green Bay Packers vs Cleveland Browns Game Summary
Well Packers Fans, now is not the time to worry. I must
admit that I was disappointed with the performance of the
Packers number 1 offensive line. I did however, see some
positives in this Pre-Season loss to the
Cleveland Browns, 10-3.
First and Foremost,
Brett Favre was as good as it gets
for a short Pre-Season tune up. His passes were crisp
and right on the money, on his way to going 8 of 11 for
80 yards. Sixteen of those yards were gained on a screen
pass to Dorsey Levens. Levens, back from a season of
injuries, showed and excellent burst in laying out for
the first down. On the very next play, Levens carried
off left tackle and cut back across the field for a 20
yard chunk. To this observer, this was the Levens of old.
Dispite his broken left hand, look for Levens to be ready
for the season opener.
Bubba Franks also chipped in on offense with 2 catches
for 19 yards. Franks made a great catch for 8 yards with
a defender all over his back. This WILL BE A BREAK OUT
SEASON FOR FRANKS!
Again, Packer Fans, now is NOT the time to worry. This is
what the Pre-Season is for... This Packers offense has
three weeks to get their timing down. With a healthy
Dorsey Levens, and
Ahman Green as a one two punch, BigE
believe's this offense will soon Roll over it's opponents.
That's the way I saw it.... BigE
