The Green Bay Packers snapped a two game losing streak and clinched their first divisional championship since 1997.
The Bears grabbed the early 7-0 lead on a fake field goal, as Brad Maynard passed to Dustin Lyman for the touchdown. The Packer's offense struggled for the first half. The Bears offense continued to roll along and built up a 14-3 lead early in the second quarter, as Dustin Lyman would catch his second touch down pass of the game,which capped off a 12 play-72 yard drive. Ryan Longwell later converted on a 31 yard field goal to make it 14-6 at the half.
Green Bay opened the second half on a 62 yard-7 play drive with Favre hitting Bubba Franks for the score to narrow the gap to 14-13. The Packer defense hut down the Bears offense from there, and forced some turn overs for the remainder of the game. Meanwhile, Favre and the offense added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter, including one from back-up running back TONY FISHER. The Bears did manage a late score to narrow the final margin, but the Packers WIN the second and final meeting for this season by the score of 30-20.
