After a last second game winning field goal attempt failed and forced an over time between the Packers and Seahawks, it was anyone's game to win or lose. Seattle won the coin toss for the overtime, and Matt Hasselbeck was heard saying " We want the ball and we're going to score". Well..... they got the ball, but eventually it was the Packers who scored the game winning touchdown on a 52 yard interception return by Al Harris to win the game 33-27.
The Packers opening series of the day,produced just three plays and a punt. Seattle took over at the 31.Hasselbeck went right to work passing to Robinson on a few plays for gains of 11 and 15 yards. On first down at the 26, Alexander gained 17 yards down to the 9. The drive eventually stalled and Josh Brown kicked a 30 yard field goal for a 3-0 lead.
In the second quarter at the 9:13 mark, the Packers would tie the game at 3-3 on a 31 yard field goal from Longwell. On the drive, Favre and Henderson hooked for a 29 yard gain. Seatle came right back on the next series to reclaim the lead on a 8 play-56 yard drive which resulted in a 35 yard field goal from Brown for a 6-3 lead. Things heated up, as the Packers stormed right back. On first down Favre passed to Walker for a 44 yard gain. Next Favre hit Green for a 13 yardgain down to the 23. Two plays later, Favre found Bubba Franks open in the back of the endzone for a TOUCHDOWN. Longwell added the p.a.t. and the Packers took the lead at 10-6. The defense came up big on the next series, and forced a Seattle punt. The Packer offense returned and Favre passed to Drver for a gain of 23. Eventually the Packers settled for a 27 yard field goal from Longwell to extend the lead to 13-6 at halftime.
